Presentato oggi a Roma un progetto europeo di ricerca e sensibilizzazione contro le discriminazioni da orientamento sessuale e identità di genere nello sport. Il progetto coinvolge cinque Paesi dell’Unione ed è guidato da Aics.
Il progetto verrà presentato ufficialmente nella sala stampa della Camera, giovedì 6 luglio alle 14.30: Outsport – Innovative and educational approaches to prevent violence and tackle discrimination in sport based on sexual orientation and gender identity – cofinanziato dalla Commissione Europea con il programma Erasmus plus, coinvolge Italia, Scozia, Germania, Austria e Ungheria, e presenta un assortimento di primo livello che include realtà di ampio respiro istituzionale e accademico e organizzazioni impegnate nel sociale.
Nel corso della Conferenza si presenteranno le varie azioni del progetto, incentrate principalmente sulla ricerca, sulla formazione e sulla sensibilizzazione, e verrà inaugurata la campagna di comunicazione europea. Sarà anche l’occasione per conoscere i diversi partner internazionali del progetto: LEAP Sport Scotland – Leadership, Equality and Active Participation, DSHS – Deutsch Sporthochschule Koeln (German Sport University Cologne, Institute of Sociology and Gender Studies), VIDC – Fonds wiener Institute fur Internationalen Dialog und Zusammena (Vienna Institute for International Dialogue and Cooperation), FRIGO – Friss Gondolat Egyesület (Organization for Fresh Ideas).
