Non comprimarie o collaterali a cortei politici o sindacali, ma protagoniste assolute. Anche lo striscione è insolito: La solidarietà non e’ un lusso. Lo stringono presidenti di associazioni, Acli e Arci, Anpas e Legambiente, cultura sociale e ambientalista si fondono, ci sono gruppi culturali, di teatro, di anziani e di associazionismo sportivo. Sabato 26 ottobre il movimento pacifista italiano scende in piazza per manifestare contro la guerra, per un cessate il fuoco a Gaza, in Medio Oriente, in Ucraina e in tutti i conflitti armati nel mondo.
Europe for peace, Rete italiana pace e disarmo, Fondazione PerugiAssisi, Assisipacegiusta, Sbilanciamoci e La via maestra: sono le reti della società civile, a cui ha aderito anche il Forum Nazionale del Terzo Settore, unite per ribadire che “il tempo della pace è ora”.
